This is a pretty awesome record featuring fifteen straight-up pop songs chock full of tenderclever kindness and sweet-hearted melodic goodness, all in an unassuming home-recorded style. Bedroom symphonies and scrappy lil' numbers, side by side for 26 minutes of gentle-fi indiepop. You'll hear Colin singing with a sincerity that can be comforting, though it scares some and is sometimes sad, too. You'll like what this record does to your ears and to your sense of possibility. It's almost a threat, but not threatening. Honestly, it's okay to love this record.
